Saas (Software as a Service)
The SaaS, or Internet option, delivers KCS' RightSource software solutions to client desktops through an Internet browser. Applications reside on a central server, hosted by KCS' chosen SaaS; the method allows clients to store their own data on the same secure server and access this data through KCS applications. The delivery method is a rental option, where clients rent the space used and application usage on a pre-specified basis. In comparison to the in-house option, where software resides at client sites, installation and maintenance of applications do not apply to this delivery method and can ease any IT resource issues.
Using the KCS SaaS hosted service, organisations can:
- Manage and administer their own HR solution
- Manage and administer their own HR and Payroll solution
- Manage and administer their own HR solution and utilise the KCS Payroll Fully Managed HR, Payroll or Bureau Service
Client Managed
The in-house client/server solutions are designed using a scaleable three-tier architecture and are deliverable for Unix and Linux platforms and operate in a WindowsTM environment. Resident on client premises the in-house solutions are purchased by clients and maintained by KCS through an annual maintenance agreement. Qualified personnel employed by KCS carry out implementation and installation at client site(s).
